Beijing Learning Summit – Outcomes

With BLS over for 2011 there are a number of areas of my participation that can be reflected upon.

Online Conference Schedule App/Portal

Led a student team developing the interactive online schedule and participants’ directory (read more in my previous blog post), liaising with conference organizers for content and requirements. Introduced the app at the opening ceremony on the day and provided support as needed.

Broadcasting

Took a supporting role as producer along with Roy this time as we are letting Stephen gain additional experience to receive his own producer certification. Was around on the day for technical support and as mobile camera relief for Mr Mac.

Geek Force

Acted as member of the Geek Force student tech support team throughout the day. Ensured supporting components for presentations and live streaming were properly setup.

Student ‘Panel’ for Session on Gaming

Was available to talk about my involvement with Flight Simulator and online networks as part of Mrs Brookes’ presentation on Gaming and the High School Student.
